Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our textile business. You will be responsible for overseeing our financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and managing day-to-end accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Tally Management: Handle full-cycle accounting, including voucher entry, ledger maintenance, and finalization of accounts using Tally ERP.

• Taxation: Manage GST filing, TDS returns, and ensure overall statutory compliance.

• Inventory & Costing: Oversee textile-specific inventory accounting and production cost analysis.

• Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Banking: Handle bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and receivable tracking.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of core accounting experience (Textile industry experience is highly preferred).

• Software Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP.

• Excel Savvy: Strong command over MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, GST, and Indian taxation laws.
