Job description: Senior Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with total experience 4+ years & minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm.

Role Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior Accountant with strong accounting, audit, and taxation knowledge to support our finance and compliance functions. The candidate will work closely with the senior finance team, external auditors, and consultants in managing day-to-day accounting and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports.

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.

• Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax computations, returns, and reconciliations.

• Support in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.

• Maintain books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).

• Coordinate with statutory auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments.

• Assist in ROC and other compliance filings (if required).

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company financial policies.

• Research changes in taxation and accounting standards and prepare compliance updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

• Article ship experience (preferred) with a CA firm or corporate.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, and Audit procedures.

• Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and accounting ERPs (SAP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books, etc.).

• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in audit, taxation, accounting, or finance operations, gained during or after article ship.
