Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities including GST, TDS, payroll processing, statutory compliances, and accounting entries. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of taxation and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain sales and purchase entries in accounting software.

• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.

• Process Payroll including salary calculations and statutory deductions.

• Manage ESIC and PF registrations, calculations, and monthly filings.

• Generate and manage E-Way Bills for goods movement.

• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.

• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC regulations.

• Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar).

• Strong understanding of sales and purchase accounting entries.

• Basic knowledge of E-Way Bill generation and compliance.

• Good Excel and documentation skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.

• 1–3 years experience in accounting and statutory compliance preferred.
