Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and statements.

Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management.

Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Monitor and control expenses in line with company policies.

Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).

Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
