Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 3–7 Years
Location: Sakinaka, Mumbai
Qualification: Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete day-to-day accounting activities in Tally Prime, including purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and contra entries.

• Maintain and verify purchase, sales, purchase returns, sales returns, debit notes, credit notes and expense entries.

• Prepare and file GST Returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and ensure timely GST compliance.

• Perform GST reconciliation, GSTR-2B reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification.

• Calculate, account for and file TDS Returns, including timely TDS payments and reconciliation of TDS ledgers.

• Handle Income Tax and other taxation-related activities and coordinate with CA/tax consultants wherever required.

• Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts closing and finalization with proper provisions, adjustments and reconciliations.

• Prepare and maintain Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and other financial statements/schedules.

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and coordinate with banks for payments, receipts and account-related matters.

• Maintain and reconcile vendor and customer accounts, resolve discrepancies and follow up for outstanding payments and invoices.

• Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, GST, TDS and account reconciliation.

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, CA and tax consultants and provide required books, documents and financial schedules.

• Prepare MIS, outstanding, sales, purchase, expense and other management reports as required.

• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting, tax and financial records and timely compliance with all applicable statutory requirements.

• Identify accounting discrepancies, ensure accuracy of financial data and provide necessary financial information/support to management.
  
  Preferred Candidates:

  • Graduate from any stream can apply (Preferred from Commerce Background)

  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in accounting and taxation.

  • Experience in independently handling GST, TDS, Tally and finalization of accounts will be preferred.

  • Prior experience in a CA firm will be an added advantage.
