We are looking for an Senior Accountant to join our team at Ameza Jewels. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger activities.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.

• Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information and documentation.

• Review invoices, expenses, payments, and accounting entries for accuracy.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Maintain proper internal controls and accounting procedures.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management.

• Assist junior accounting staff and review their work when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.

• Knowledge of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA/Inter, CMA, ACCA, or other relevant professional qualification is an advantage.

• Experience in financial reporting, audits, and statutory compliance.

• Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff.
