Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the closing process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Tax Compliance: Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST/VAT, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements (depending on the country).
Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.
Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate depreciation, and monitor asset additions and disposals.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Review AP and AR processes to ensure timely payments, collections, and accurate recording.
Team Supervision: Mentor and guide junior accountants, review their work, and provide technical support.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency.
ERP and Accounting Systems: Use and maintain ERP/accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Tally) to ensure accurate financial records.
Management Reporting: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management to support business decisions.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 5 years of experience. Additionally, candidates are required to have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification (if any) is a plus. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
