Job Title - Manager Year of Exp.- 5- 7 years Qualification – Required : CA / ACCA / CMA Qualification – Preferred : CA qualified / ACCA qualified /CMA qualified Certifications Skills – Required MS Office Excellent Communication Skills – Preferred MS Word and MS Excel Written and verbal communication Advanced knowledge in tax concepts Job Description Strong understanding of IAS12/ASC 740 (“tax accounting”) and its application in corporate tax. Accounting professionals (CA/CPA/ACCA) with extensive working knowledge of “tax accounting” or candidates with significant experience specifically with “tax accounting” if a professional qualification is not present. In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and their implications on tax accounting. Comprehensive understanding of direct tax law matters in general (country agnostic) that would impact tax accounting. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and stay updated on changes in tax legislation. Excel skills and report writing capabilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate with audit colleagues and manage tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. Pro-active in learning and implementing Corporate Tax concepts. Extensive experience preparing the Corporate Tax Computation with an in-depth understanding of adjusting items. Capable of applying key corporate tax concepts to prepare detailed technical memorandums. Ability to present complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in using tax software and technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Experience using Alphatax would be an added advantage. Experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service to clients. Ability to handle large datasets and interpret complex financial information. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and escalate issues when necessary. Ability to follow processes and manage change effectively. Experience working in a multi-cultural environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions. Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops on tax-related topics for internal teams or clients. Strong business writing skill to prepare tax memo and tax advisory document Strong practical experience in dealing with assessments/query from tax authorities Experience in managing the tax litigation matters(preferred) Strong knowledge on managing the whole engagement life cycle starting from Pursuit till closure of billing.
