Process Improvement Associate Bring your expertise to a high-visibility internal consulting team where you can shape target-state processes, strengthen controls, and grow your impact across the business. As a Process Improvement Associate in the Performance Consulting – Process Intelligence team within Consumer and Community Banking, you will partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to analyze end-to-end processes and design ideal target-state workflows. You will apply process improvement skills, critical thinking, and data-driven diagnostics to identify root causes and generate practical solutions that improve efficiency and reduce risk. You will help advance intelligent automation and robotic process automation opportunities, including the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, while communicating recommendations in an executive-ready way. Job Responsibilities: Develop detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to synthesize findings, shape recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders through clear storytelling Leverage firm-approved artificial intelligence tools and developer copilots to enhance delivery approaches and continuously improve the team’s process intelligence offerings Partner with project team members to interview stakeholders, analyze process documentation, and gather data to identify improvement opportunities Lead one or more projects by demonstrating leadership through influence and strengthening team and organizational culture Collaborate with the team to build hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps while identifying roadblocks, escalating risks, and proposing solutions Analyze key business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation, using data analytics to provide ongoing insight Contribute to the testing and deployment of process tools and technologies to ensure alignment with operational standards and objectives Facilitate working sessions to align stakeholders on current-state pain points, target-state design decisions, and ownership for follow-through Quantify operational, risk, and financial impact opportunities to support prioritization and clarify expected benefits Embed risk and control considerations into target-state process designs to support well-controlled execution and change readiness Support change adoption by preparing clear materials and reinforcing new ways of working with partner teams Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities: Use process mapping tools (for example, Microsoft Visio, Signavio, or Business Process Model and Notation) to document and analyze workflows Apply data analytics to interpret models and diagrams and communicate data requirements and assets clearly Communicate complex ideas, concepts, or data through effective storytelling for diverse audiences Collaborate with diverse teams with varied experiences, skills, and backgrounds Operate artificial intelligence tools responsibly, including exposure to data and knowledge work, learning from experience, reasoning and planning, and safe human–artificial intelligence interaction Demonstrate strong problem-solving, client management, and executive-level communication skills Own tasks and manage most elements of an end-to-end workstream with appropriate follow-up and accountability Translate ambiguous problems into structured hypotheses, clear workplans, and actionable outputs Produce concise, executive-ready materials that connect findings to recommendations and decisions Practice sound risk awareness when proposing process changes that affect controls, roles, or handoffs Adapt quickly across multiple initiatives while maintaining quality and attention to detail Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities: Create senior-ready presentations and narratives in written and verbal formats Apply systems thinking to analyze complex processes and identify optimization and integration opportunities Align process improvements to customer service principles to enhance satisfaction and outcomes Foster cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement improvement opportunities across teams Use agile methodologies to iteratively develop and refine process improvements with flexibility and responsiveness to change Bring: "Preferred experience supporting more than one CCB Operations Function/Line of Business" Demonstrate: “Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.”
