Oracle Lease Accounting Consultant

Oracle Lease account Consultant • 5+ years of Oracle Financials experience with at least 1–2 Lease Accounting cloud end-end implementations. • Strong knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16. • Experience with lease lifecycle management and lease accounting processes. • Understanding of AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Subledger Accounting. • Good awareness of the available Out-of-the-box (OOTB) integrations in Oracle Lease accounting. • Thorough understanding of upstream process flows with which lease accounting has integration. • Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability • Good knowledge on software configuration management systems • Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends • Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate • Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions • One or two industry domain knowledge • Client Interfacing skills • Project and Team management • Ability to deliver under strict timelines. Good communication and customer-facing skills • Lead requirement gathering and solution design for lease accounting processes. • Configure Lease Accounting Cloud including: • Lease Creation and Amendments • Lease Activation and Termination • Rent Escalations • Variable Lease Payments • Short-Term and Long-Term Lease Classification • Subleases • Configure lease accounting treatments including: • Right-of-Use (ROU) Assets • Lease Liability Calculations • Amortization Schedules • Interest Accruals • Support migration of lease data from legacy systems and third-party lease applications. • Design integrations with AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. • Prepare accounting and disclosure reports for compliance requirements. • Conduct testing, reconciliation, training, and go-live support activities. • Support audit requests and lease accounting governance processes.
