Job Summary

The Junior Accountant supports the finance team by handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting with reports and audits. This role is ideal for someone starting their accounting career and looking to build practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries

• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation

• Help with audits and compliance requirements

• Use accounting software and spreadsheets for data entry

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

• Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field
