Profile: Junior Accountant

Educational Qualification: B.COM or BBA Graduate

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger by entering financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate records.
• Assist with the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate invoicing for clients.
• Assist with reconciling bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with the monthly and yearly closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed, including filing, data entry, and maintaining accounting records.
• Prepare and file GST returns in a timely manner.
