Financial Accountant

We are looking for a disciplined, sincere, and articulate Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across both entities. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, ownership, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and external consultants.

The ideal candidate is someone who values structure, meets deadlines, and functions as a dependable part of a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain books of accounts for our in-house brands.

• Record daily transactions, expenses, sales, purchase entries, and bank reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Track cash flows and working capital requirements

Compliance & Statutory Work

• Handle GST filings (returns, reconciliation, compliance)

• Coordinate with CA for TDS, income tax, audits, and statutory filings

• Ensure timely compliance with all government regulations

Inventory & Costing

• Maintain inventory records (fabric, garments, raw material, finished goods)

• Track cost sheets, production costs, and margins

• Support pricing and margin analysis for retail and wholesale

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with operations, retail, and production teams

• Prepare MIS reports for management review

• Coordinate with vendors, stores, and external accountants when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST

• Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel

• Experience working with design, fashion, retail, or manufacturing businesses preferred

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
