The Finance / Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing invoices and payments, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the organization's financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
Record purchase, sales, journal, receipt, and payment entries in the accounting system.
Prepare and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment vouchers.
Reconcile bank accounts, cash, and ledger balances on a regular basis.
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Process vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required by management.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory working papers.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Monitor budgets and control expenses.
Support payroll processing and salary reconciliation.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding finance-related matters.
Perform any other finance and accounts-related duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance.
MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
