Counter Billing Executive

A Billing Executive in the jewellery sector is responsible for handling customer billing, invoicing, and transaction processes accurately while ensuring compliance with pricing, taxes, and company policies. The role also involves customer interaction, especially during purchase checkout.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate accurate bills/invoices for gold, diamond, and other jewellery purchases

Calculate making charges, wastage, GST, discounts, and final pricing correctly

Handle billing software/POS systems used in jewellery stores

Verify product details (weight, purity, stone details) before billing

Process multiple payment modes (cash, card, UPI, EMI, etc.)

Maintain daily sales records and billing reports

Coordinate with the sales team and inventory team for correct product codes and pricing

Ensure compliance with government regulations (GST invoicing norms)

Handle customer queries related to billing and pricing

Assist in returns, exchanges, and refund processing

Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions
