Prepare and process patient bills accurately as per hospital procedures.
Handle OPD and IPD billing activities.
Verify patient details, treatment charges, and billing information before generating invoices.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, insurance teams, and other departments for billing-related requirements.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions, as applicable.
Maintain billing records, receipts, invoices, and daily transaction reports.
Assist patients and their relatives with billing-related queries.
Coordinate with the insurance and TPA departments for cashless and reimbursement-related billing, if required.
Verify discounts, concessions, and approvals as per hospital policy.
Prepare daily billing reports and submit them to the reporting manager.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital billing procedures.
Support the accounts team in reconciling billing records and resolving discrepancies.
