Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GST Compliance Executive to manage and ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns and related compliance activities. be proficient in tax computation, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.) within statutory deadlines.

• Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers and coordinate with vendors for mismatches or discrepancies.

• Handle GST payments, input tax credit (ITC) computations, and ensure correct availment and utilization.

• Monitor e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance as per applicable turnover thresholds.

• Liaise with internal teams for tax data and documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and accounting records.

• Assist in GST audits, departmental assessments, and respond to notices, inquiries, or summons from GST authorities.

• Keep abreast of changes in GST laws, notifications, circulars, and case laws, and advise management accordingly.

• Maintain organized records of tax filings, challans, reconciliations, and other compliance documents for audit purposes.

• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance is a plus).

• 2–4 years of experience in GST compliance, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.

• Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, rules, return filing processes, and reconciliation procedures.

• Proficient in using Excel, accounting software (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.), and the GSTN portal.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
