Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lucknow

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations. In this role, you will manage general ledger accounting, ensure tax compliance, prepare accurate financial reports, and support audit processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, and hands-on experience with modern accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Manage ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and oversee the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely compliance and filing for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulatory returns.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supervise vendor payments, client invoicing, account reconciliations, and debt collection tracking.

• Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, preparing all necessary schedules and documentation.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist senior management in preparing annual budgets, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (CA Inter / ACCA / MBA Finance preferred).

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, SAP, QuickBooks) and Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP / Ind AS, tax regulations, and financial reporting guidelines.

• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
