About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional with expertise in both Chartered Accountancy and Corporate Law to manage the organization's financial, legal, compliance, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, corporate governance, taxation, legal documentation, and strategic financial advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Taxation Responsibilities
Manage accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation laws including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
Handle tax assessments, notices, appeals, and litigation matters.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
Advise management on financial planning, risk management, and business structuring.
Corporate Legal Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, employment contracts, and partnership agreements.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, corporate governance norms, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Manage company secretarial and legal documentation.
Handle corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, investments, and due diligence processes.
Liaise with external legal counsels, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor and manage legal disputes, notices, arbitration matters, and litigation.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of corporate records.
Develop internal policies and compliance frameworks.
Identify legal and financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Provide strategic advice to senior management on legal and financial implications of business decisions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Law Graduate (LLB/LLM) with specialization in Corporate Law.
5–10 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, taxation, and compliance functions.
Strong understanding of Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, labour laws, and corporate governance regulations.
Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience in handling litigation and regulatory matters will be preferred.

Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)
