Job Description Your Team The Market Data Services (MDS) team supports the business by managing external market data vendors, services, and associated costs to ensure data is available, compliant, and cost-efficient. The team works closely with Investment, Technology, Legal, and Procurement partners to onboard new services, maintain accurate records, and manage vendor relationships. A strong focus is placed on governance, process adherence, and operational accuracy. The team plays an important role in ensuring effective management of market data usage across the firm. Your Role This is an entry-level role designed to support the day-to-day operations of Market Data Services. The role provides exposure to vendor management, invoice processing, and data service onboarding processes. The individual will work under close supervision, following established procedures and detailed instructions, while supporting senior team members in maintaining accurate records and resolving routine operational matters. The role is accountable for own task contributions and offers an opportunity to develop foundational knowledge of market data practices within an investment management environment. You Will Be Responsible For Supporting the maintenance of process documentation for invoice processing and MDS pricing workflows, following established templates and guidelines Assisting with processing vendor invoices and checking them against contractual terms using standard validation procedures Helping track vendor billing queries, updating records in the MDS inventory system, and escalating discrepancies to senior team members for resolution Providing administrative and operational support to the MDS team on vendor management activities for existing services and new requests Assisting with new service requests and workflow tasks through ServiceNow as directed Supporting the coordination of contract requests through internal Legal teams, following established policies and procedures Assisting senior team members in coordinating with Technology and Support teams on onboarding of new data services Supporting basic reporting, data entry, and budget tracking activities within the MDS team as assigned The Experience You Bring Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field Strong interest in financial markets and market data services Basic understanding of financial services or investment management is advantageous Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes and detailed instructions Effective communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment Ability to manage own tasks and meet deadlines under supervision Prior internship or academic exposure to financial services, procurement, or data analysis is a plus Full Time / Part Time Full time Worker Type Employee Job Exempt (Yes / No) No Workplace Model At Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
