Business Controller - Financial Planning and Analysis

Business Controller - FP&A Responsibilities 1. Build annual business plan and rolling forecasts; maintain assumptions, scenarios and sensitivities. 2. Forecast revenue, bookings, collections, cashflows and margins; highlight risks and mitigation actions. 3. Run monthly business reviews with dashboards on KPIs, variances, drivers and corrective actions. 4. Provide profitability analysis by project/segment/channel; recommend levers to improve returns. 5. Support pricing/scheme decisions with analytics, guardrails and approval-ready packs. 6. Evaluate capex/investment proposals; track returns vs plan and benefits realization. 7. Improve MIS quality: KPI definitions, data hygiene and automation requirements with IT/teams. 8. Partner SBUs/projects on decision-making; challenge assumptions and drive outcome accountability. Qualifications Qualification- Essential CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com from a recognized Indian institution; qualification to match role seniority. Desirable/Preferable CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) with exposure to real estate, project finance or treasury systems. Experience- Total Years (Band) 12-20 years Years (Relevant) 8-15 years Seniority (desirable) Senior manager Types of Organization Large real estate / infrastructure / hospitality developers, project-led corporates, NBFC / treasury-heavy environments. Types of Sector Real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, mixed-use developments. Variety of experience Budgeting, cash flow, project controls, audit/compliance, business partnering. Qualitative aspects Should combine strong control orientation with commercial understanding. Exposure to multi-project, capex-intensive businesses is preferred.
