Billing Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Billing Executive to manage end-to-end billing operations, ensure accurate and timely invoicing, maintain billing records, and coordinate with internal teams and customers for billing-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and other billing documents.

• Ensure accurate billing based on contracts, purchase orders, quotations, delivery challans, and agreed terms.

• Verify billing data, rates, taxes, discounts, and supporting documents before invoice generation.

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly billing activities within defined timelines.

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Maintain proper billing records and documentation for audits and compliance.

• Prepare billing reports, MIS, ageing reports, and other management reports.

• Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, tax details, and billing adjustments.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Identify billing errors and process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent; CA/Inter or relevant certification is an advantage.

• 3–6 years of experience in billing/accounts receivable or a similar finance role.

• Preferred candidate from Car rental Industry

• Billing accuracy and error rate.

• Timely completion of billing cycles.

• Reduction in billing disputes and credit-note errors.

• Compliance with statutory billing requirements.

• Timely resolution of customer billing queries.
