Financial Analyst – Cross-Functional

Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who can go beyond traditional financial reporting and provide meaningful insights across Finance, Sales, Production, and Operations. The ideal candidate will analyze financial and operational data, identify business trends, and support management in making informed decisions.

This role requires someone who can connect financial performance with operational drivers and turn complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis and identify corrective actions.

• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

• Analyze profitability, costs, and overall business performance.

Sales & Revenue Analysis

• Analyze revenue trends, customer acquisition costs, and profitability.

• Evaluate pricing strategies, discounts, and their impact on margins.

• Track sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.

• Work closely with the Sales team to identify opportunities for revenue improvement.

Production & Operations Analysis

• Monitor production costs, efficiency, inventory, and operational KPIs.

• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for operational initiatives.

• Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

• Analyze the financial impact of operational and production decisions.

Cross-Functional Business Partnering

• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Operations teams.

• Translate operational KPIs into financial impact for management.

• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions.

• Support projects related to expansion, automation, cost optimization, and new product launches.

Data & Reporting Tools

• Create dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, Zoho Analytics, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data.

• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis.

• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Experience with Power BI, Zoho Analytics, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

• Ability to analyze both financial and operational data.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
