Key Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
Maintain and update ledgers and accounting records.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and payment documents.
Assist with bank reconciliation and other account reconciliations.
Support GST, TDS, and other basic accounting/compliance activities.
Assist in preparing reports and maintaining financial documentation.
Perform data entry and maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
Good understanding of debit and credit.
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime or other accounting software will be an advantage.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
