Job Title: Accounts Payable Executive – Finance
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate proficiency in Advanced Excel. Prior experience in handling a team will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, processing, and timely payments

• Review and validate invoices for accuracy, approvals, and compliance with company policies

• Ensure reconciliations of vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner

• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related issues

• Maintain and update AP records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)

• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely closure of open items

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable

• Lead and mentor junior AP team members (if applicable)

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with internal/external audits

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes

• Excellent proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.)

• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including team handling

• Professional certifications (B.COM / M.COM/ MBA) are a plus
