Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

Sudarshan Pharma is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to manage and oversee financial operations within a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing setup. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting business decisions through effective financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for the manufacturing unit

• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations

• Handle costing and inventory accounting specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with industry standards

• Lead, train, and supervise the accounts team

• Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and cost control

• Work closely with production and procurement teams for cost optimization

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CA / Inter CA / MBA Finance preferred)

• 5–10 years of experience, preferably in pharma/manufacturing industry

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance

• Experience in inventory management and product costing

• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and Advanced Excel

• Strong analytical and leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a startup or fast-growing organization

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and team management skills
