Accounts Manager – JD

Position Title: Accounts Manager

Experience: 10+ Years

Salary: ₹50,000 - ₹60,000 per month

Industry: Import-Export Consultancy & Statutory Services (DGFT, FSSAI, IEM)

Job Purpose

To lead the finance and accounts department of a specialized consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will ensure robust financial health through expert accounting practices, strategic oversight of service-based revenue models, and meticulous financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Service-Based Accounting: Oversee and ensure the accurate posting of all accounting-related entries, including Sales, Purchase, Payment, Receipt, Contra, and Journal entries, ensuring all consultancy transactions are recorded.

• Banking & Reconciliation: Review and approve all Bank Reconciliation Statements.

• Financial Verification: Direct the verification of all service-related bills before accounting and authorize the release of payments.

• Cash Flow Management: Analyze Aging Reports for Receivables and Payables to maintain healthy working capital for consultancy operations.

• Expert Statutory Compliance: Maintain expert-level oversight of GST, TDS, ESI, PT, and EPF compliance.

• Direct & Indirect Tax: Supervise TDS receivable reconciliation as per Form 26AS and ensure accurate GST filings for consultancy services.

• Payroll & Audit: Manage the review of expenses, payroll records, and coordinate with HODs for internal and external audits.

• MIS Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to senior management regarding service profitability.

• Year-End Finalization: Lead the coordination with HODs for the finalization of monthly and yearly financial closings.

• Continuous Financial Control: Drive the "Continuous Close" process by performing weekly bank and ledger reconciliations to identify discrepancies early, ensuring that monthly and quarterly closings are efficient and error-free.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Experience: Proven experience of 10+ years in accounting or financial management.

• Analytical Excellence: Strong leadership and organizing abilities with expert proficiency in Advanced Excel16

• Reporting Standards: Deep understanding of financial reporting principles and advanced accounting practices.

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Tally ERP9 or Tally Prime.

• Communication: Excellent linguistic fluency in English, Hindi, and the Local Language to interact with clients and statutory authorities.

Education Qualifications

• Undergraduate (UG): B. Com in Any Specialization.

• Postgraduate (PG): M. Com in Any Specialization, or MBA/PGDM in Finance.

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 6+ years of experience.
