Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Financial Transactions:

  This includes handling accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and managing bank reconciliations. 

• Maintaining Financial Records:

  Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger and other relevant systems. 

• Preparing Financial Reports:

  Assisting with the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 

• Ensuring Financial Compliance:

  Working with other departments to ensure the company adheres to financial regulations and reporting requirements. 

• Assisting with Budgeting and Forecasting:

  Supporting the budgeting process and providing financial analysis to help with forecasting. 

• Reconciling Accounts:

  Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in financial records. 

• Preparing Tax Returns:

  Assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings. 

• Client Communication:

  Responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. 

• Sales and Business Development:

  In some cases, Account Executives may also be involved in sales activities, such as identifying new leads, presenting solutions, and closing deals. 

Skills Needed:

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills: A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential. 

• Proficiency in accounting software: Familiarity with software like QuickBooks, Xero, or other relevant accounting systems. 

• Attention to detail and accuracy: Ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Being able to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. 

• Communication and interpersonal skills: Effectively communicating with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. 

• Organizational and time management skills: Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. 

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements: Staying up-to-date on financial regulations and reporting requirements
