Accounts Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

• Record and maintain sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Prepare and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.

• Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain ageing reports.

• Verify purchase invoices, expense bills and supporting documents.

• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.

• Support preparation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and TDS-related data.

• Maintain petty cash and day-to-day expense records.

• Coordinate with vendors, customers and internal departments regarding account-related matters.

• Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, P&L and Balance Sheet preparation.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and records.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers and financial records.

• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
