Senior Accountant

📍 Location: Nangli Sakrawati, Najafgarh, New Delhi

💰 Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently manage accounting operations and supervise the accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, reconciliations, MIS reporting and statutory compliance, along with good team-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities in Tally Prime

- Handle sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries

- Manage GST and TDS calculations, reconciliation and compliance

- Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

- Monitor customer outstanding and payment follow-ups

- Reconcile customer, vendor and bank ledgers

- Manage bank reconciliation and cash book

- Verify sales and purchase invoices

- Prepare monthly P&L, ageing, outstanding and MIS reports

- Monitor expenses and maintain proper documentation

- Handle stock and purchase-related accounting

- Coordinate with CA for GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits and statutory compliance

- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution

- Provide accurate financial information to management

- Supervise the accounts team, allocate work and monitor completion

- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of the team's tasks

Candidate Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent

- 4–7+ years of relevant accounting experience

- Strong command of Tally Prime

- Good knowledge of GST, TDS and accounting principles

- Strong MS Excel skills

- Experience in manufacturing/trading companies preferred

- Good communication and payment follow-up skills

- Previous experience in team handling/supervision

- Ability to delegate work and monitor team performance

- Detail-oriented, systematic and responsible
