The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, cash flow management, TDS, GST, and preparation of tax returns.
Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP 9 and Tally Latest Version.
Maintain ledger accounts, journal entries, and vouchers (sales, purchase, receipt, payment, contra, journal).
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
Manage petty cash and cash book.
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
Ensure proper classification of input tax credit (ITC).
File TDS returns, generate challans, and ensure timely deduction & deposit.
Assist in preparation of Income Tax working and audit schedules.
Prepare daily / weekly cash flow statements.
Assist in preparation of MIS reports for management.
Monitor receivables & payables, follow-up for outstanding payments.
Support in budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, payment records, and statutory documents.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and analysis in MS Excel.
Use Excel formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table, HLOOKUP, etc.
Maintain data accuracy and proper record keeping.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
Experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
