Key Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting Operations

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP).

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and vouchers.

• Invoice & Billing Management

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.

  • Verify vendor invoices and ensure timely processing.

  • Track outstanding payments and follow up for collections.

• GST & Tax Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing monthly GST reports.

  • Help with TDS entries, filings, and supporting documentation.

• Payroll Assistance

  • Support in preparing salary statements.

  • Maintain employee attendance and leave records when required.

• Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Provide transaction summaries and account statements to management.

• Vendor & Customer Coordination

  • Respond to vendor and customer queries regarding invoices and payments.

  • Maintain updated records of vendor/customer accounts.

• Audit Support

  • Provide necessary documents to internal/external auditors.

  • Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit compliance.

• Administrative & Documentation Tasks

  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.

  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.
    Bank & Cash Handling

    • Prepare bank reconciliation statements.

    • Monitor daily cash flow and maintain petty cash records.

  • Purchase & Sales Entries

    • Record purchase bills, sales bills, debit/credit notes, and expense entries.

    • Verify supporting documents before posting.
