Job Description

Position: Accounts & Compliance Executive
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Lower Parel
Reporting To: Finance Head / Director

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Compliance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, MIS reporting, and audit coordination. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely statutory filings, and supporting financial reporting and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, including data entry, ledger review, and reconciliations

• Manage debtor collections, creditor coordination, and cash/bank transactions

• Handle GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and reconciliations), TDS filings, Income Tax Returns, Professional Tax, and advance tax

• Ensure compliance with ROC, PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, and FEMA regulations

• Process monthly payroll, including statutory deductions and filings

• Prepare audit schedules and financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow

• Support tax audits and maintain audit documentation (Schedule VI, Form 3CA, 3CD)

• Generate MIS reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and debtor/creditor ageing

• Perform sales, expense, and e-commerce reconciliation across platforms

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter preferred

• 3–6 years of relevant accounting and compliance experience

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance

• Proficiency in Tally, Busy, Zoho, or similar software, and strong Excel skills

• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
