Required skills and qualifications

• Proven experience in a tele-sales, telemarketing, or customer service role.

• Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle rejection and work under pressure.

• Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales or marketing is a plus.

• A professional and customer-focused attitude. 

Key responsibilities

• Sales and outreach: Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote and sell products or services.

• Customer interaction: Handle inbound calls to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve complaints professionally.

• Target achievement: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and quotas.

• Lead management: Generate and qualify leads, follow up on prospects, and direct qualified leads to the sales team when necessary.

• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, calls, and sales activities in a CRM system.

• Needs assessment: Ask questions to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

• Upselling/cross-selling: Inform customers about additional products or services that may be of interest to them.

• Market awareness: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.

• Administrative tasks: Process orders and update customer information in the database.
