The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, handling taxation and compliance, and supporting audits. The role ensures timely closures, controls expenses, and supports management with reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts and ensure accuracy
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Coordinate audits and support tax filings
Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and compliance knowledge
