As the Accounts-Jr/Sr , you will oversee and manage the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective team management. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support the company's financial goals.
Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations to foster professional development.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, including tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.
Audit & Risk Management: Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to identify discrepancies or errors and take appropriate corrective actions.
Collaboration & Strategic Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and senior management, to analyze financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing or trading sector.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and drive performance.
