We are looking for an ACCOUNTANT for URBAN TRENDS, Begumpet, Hyd
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
Handle accounts payable and receivable, and track vendor and client payments
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for management
Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as needed
Maintain accurate records of trip-related expenses, supplier payments, and client refunds
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in accountancy (agency, travel, or service industry experience preferred but not mandatory)
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance in India
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, or similar accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
Experience working with a small business or startup
Familiarity with QuickBooks or Zoho Books
