Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5–6 years of core accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting operations, handle GST and TDS compliances, maintain financial statements in Tally, and perform complex data analysis using Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Tally Operations: Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledger reconciliation, balance sheet finalization, and bank reconciliations in Tally.
Taxation & Compliance: Accurately calculate, file, and reconcile GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns within statutory timelines.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit & loss reports, and variance analysis using Excel.
Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedule reports, supporting documentation, and compliance files.
Vendor & Payroll Management: Manage accounts payable/receivable, process employee payroll, and maintain precise records of deductions and statutory dues.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
Expert-level understanding of GST regulations and TDS deductions/filings.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and data manipulation).
