About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven Accountant to join our Business Consultancy Firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and vendor reconciliations
- Perform monthly and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants
- Maintain accurate documentation and financial records
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience with Tally, Busy, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance requirements
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
