Accountant – Accounts & Taxation

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–3 years of experience in Accounts and Taxation. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax compliances, and should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting entries in Tally Prime.

• Preparation and finalization of books of accounts.

• GST Return Filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and GST reconciliation.

• TDS computation, return filing, and compliance.

• Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.

• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.

• Preparation of MIS reports and financial statements.

• Coordination with clients for accounting records and statutory documents.

• Assisting in tax assessments, notices, and compliance-related work.

• Maintaining proper documentation and statutory records.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts & Taxation.

• Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.

• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

• Basic understanding of accounting standards and statutory compliance.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, General Insurance, or Mutual Fund operations/processes will be an added advantage.

• Candidates having exposure to investment or financial services will be preferred.
