About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of accounting experience and be capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping.
Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Support monthly closing and MIS reporting activities.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Assist senior accountants in audit and taxation-related work.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.
Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
