We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at at Stepwise Consulting. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹15,000 - ₹30,000 and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records (sales, purchase, expenses)
Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Prepare and file tax returns
Monitor cash flow and budgets
Assist in audits and financial reviews
Generate invoices and manage billing
Maintain proper documentation and records
Required Skills:
Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Experience with accounting software (Tally, Busy, etc.)
Good command of MS Excel
Understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation laws
Basic knowledge of financial reporting
Job Requirements:
A perfect candidate for this role should have a keen eye for numerical accuracy. The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 3 years of experience. Applicants must have knowledge about accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
