Job Description - Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3–5 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The candidate must have strong knowledge of accounting principles and advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP.

·        Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

·        Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·        Prepare and file GST returns and assist in TDS calculation and filing.

·        Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and coordinate with auditors.

·        Prepare MIS reports and monitor cash flow and budgets.

·        Use Advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIF for financial analysis.

·        Must be capable of handling Ledger Reconciliation, GST Reconciliation, and TDS Reconciliation.

·        Prepare financial dashboards and data reconciliation reports.

·        Candidates with experience in eCommerce businesses or Import-Export operations will be given preference.

·        Should have experience working with and assisting senior management in achieving desired financial and operational outcomes.

Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).

·        3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Technical Skills

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

·        Experience in Tally / ERP software.

·        Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF, SUMIF).

·        Good knowledge of GST & TDS.
