Job description:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Monitor any discrepancies in payment, monitor for charges made on credit cards and record any returns.
2. Organize a financial filing system that is easily accessible.
3. Prepare accounting reports to be presented to senior management.
4. Track all payments made for tax preparation and follow up on returns.
5. Speak to clients about payments, refunds and statements.
6. Ensure that all clients receive their financial statements on time.
7. Ensure accuracy of financial statements, making sure that the final figures on statements are correct.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience working with Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and Zoho Finance tools.

• Familiarity with taxation and compliance requirements (e.g., GST).

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel or other spreadsheet software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
