Saraswat Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, taxation, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, banking operations, and financial reporting, preferably with experience in manufacturing or industrial companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase entries, sales entries, and expense records

• Handle GST filing, TDS filing, and statutory compliance

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Maintain vendor and customer account records

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required

• Monitor inventory-related accounting and manufacturing cost records

• Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records

• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors

• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CA Inter / M.Com preferred

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software

• Understanding of inventory accounting and costing preferred

• Familiarity with e-invoicing and e-way bill systems

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Professional ethics and confidentiality
