POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with 3 to 4 years of experience—specifically in the medical devices or healthcare equipment sector. In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounting operations, handle inventory and vendor accounts, ensure strict GST/tax compliance, and support financial reporting for our sales and service divisions (including B2B hospital procurement and B2C home care equipment).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Core Financials & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, general ledger, and financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
2. Inventory & Medical Equipment Accounting
Track and manage inventory turnover for medical equipment (Dialysis, ICU Systems, Home Care devices) and spare parts.
Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation calculations for leased or rental medical devices.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to reconcile physical stock with books of accounts.
3. Invoicing & Receivables / Payables
Process B2B (Hospitals/Clinics) and B2C (Home Care) invoicing, ensuring correct tax rates and product codes.
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely vendor payments and proactive collection of outstanding hospital dues.
Process sales commission and incentive calculations for the Business Development team.
4. Tax Compliance & Audit
Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, and other local statutory tax requirements (filing returns, generating e-way bills, e-invoicing).
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax filings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or equivalent. (M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
Experience: 3 to 4 years of core accounting experience within the Medical Equipment, Healthcare, or Pharma industry (Mandatory).
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced hands-on experience with Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
In-depth knowledge of GST implementation, e-Invoicing, and TDS for medical device sales and rentals.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with high-value medical device inventory workflows, AMC/CMC service contracts, and hospital procurement cycles.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong ethical standards.
