The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and audits. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations

• Manage invoicing, billing, and follow-up for outstanding payments

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings on time

• Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documentation

• Monitor expenses and support budgeting and cost control

• Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities as required

• Support management with financial reports and analysis
