The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within the finance team to support the company’s financial health and strategic objectives.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and reports.
Monitor and control company expenses and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
2–5 years of accounting experience (industry experience preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Tally).
Technical & Soft Skills:
