About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial documentation, statutory compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally, GST, SAP, and general accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, vouchers, and invoices.

• Handle GST-related activities, including preparation and filing of GST returns.

• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash/bank records.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

• Manage purchase and sales entries, journal entries, and expense records.

• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle Tally and SAP for accounting and financial transactions.

• Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external parties regarding financial matters.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime

• Hands-on knowledge of GST and GST compliance

• Working knowledge of SAP

• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Candidates with experience in Tally, GST, and SAP will be preferred.

• Candidates should be available to work from Kalighat, Kolkata.

Compensation

₹30,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and skill set.
