Accountant

An accountant manages and analyzes an organization's financial records. They ensure accuracy, track revenue and expenses, and guarantee compliance with tax and regulatory laws. Their work supports critical business decisions, budgeting, and overall financial health

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Manage general ledgers, record transactions, process accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.

• Tax Preparation: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to local and federal tax laws.

• Auditing: Conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS), and assist with external audits.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Analyze financial data to assist management in financial forecasting, cost reduction, and strategic planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) are highly valued.

• Technical Proficiencies: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Busy, Tally) and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to spot discrepancies and analyze financial trends.

• Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
